Responsible for the design, configuration, operation and maintenance of network equipment for STAS, FBI.  Operates extensive WAN consisting of DWDM and Ten-Gigabit Ethernet equipment.  Responsible for networks at two 5000 square foot data centers, as well as the enterprise network, consisting of all routers, switches, server load balancers, firewalls, cryptographic equipment, and VoIP systems.  Manage projects and assign tasks to team members.  Accomplishments include: performed major technical refesh of all network equipment over a one year period with minimal downtime, performed multiple builds and relocations of production and DR data centers

Network Engineer/Sr. Technical Instructor,Base-one Technologies08/2004 – 12/2005

Performed installation and configuration of network equipment on the CCSP project, part of the Pentagon Renovation.  Developed training materials on new networking technologies being introduced in the rebuild.  Delivered instructor-led training to users on Juniper Routers.  Managed project delivery for firewall/IDS training.

Network Engineer, UUNET/Worldcom/MCI08/2000 – 07/2004

Operated and maintained a dedicated training lab consisting of over 100 routers and switches from multiple vendors.  Delivered instructor led training on Cisco, Juniper, Routing Concepts, ISIS, BGP, and Switching Concepts courses.  Managed logistics for all training materials, equipment, and personnel.  Server administrator for deparment servers.
